<br />2. The purpose of said district is hereby declared to <br /> <br /> <br />be as follows: The purpose of such district shall be to require <br /> <br /> <br />the removal of poles, overhead wires and associated structures <br /> <br /> <br />from any public streets, alleys or ways within the district and <br /> <br /> <br />require the underground installation of wires and facilities <br /> <br /> <br />for supplying electric, communication, or similar or associated <br /> <br /> <br />service. The electric utility which undertakes underground <br /> <br /> <br />installation of its facilities shall use the underground <br /> <br />conversion allocation computer pursuant to decisions of the <br /> <br />Public utilities Commission of the State of California for the <br /> <br /> <br />purpose of providing to each premises in underground utility <br /> <br /> <br />District No. 1984-1 requiring it, a maximum 6f 100 feet of <br /> <br /> <br />individual electric service trenching and conductor, as well <br /> <br /> <br />as backfill, paving and conduit if required. Each property <br /> <br />owner and/or the City in Underground utility District No. <br /> <br /> <br />1984-1 shall be responsible for the installation and maintenance <br /> <br /> <br />of the conduit and termination box located on, under or within any <br /> <br /> <br />structure on the-premises served. <br /> <br />3. The district proposed to be established shall be <br /> <br /> <br />designated as "Underground utility District No. 1984-1." <br /> <br /> <br />4. The boundaries of the proposed district are set forth <br /> <br /> <br />and described as "Exhibit A," attached hereto and incorporated <br /> <br /> <br />herein, entitled lIBoundary Description, Underground utility <br /> <br /> <br />District No. 1984-1." Said boundaries are shown on that certain <br /> <br /> <br />map entitled "Underground utility District No. 1984-1," marked <br /> <br />"Exhibit B," and attached hereto. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
