<br />SWC:rks 6/07/84 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9597 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR SALE OF SURPLUS CITY <br />EQUIPMENT (OIL DISTRIBUTION TANKER TRUCK) <br /> <br />JUN 11 1984 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9582, adopted May 14, <br /> <br />1984, the City Clerk called for bids for the sale by City of one <br /> <br />International Harvester Oil Distribution Tanker Truck; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the purchase from City of said equipment, <br /> <br />and Sierra Asphalt, Inc., Sacramento, California, is the highest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for the purchase of said equipment from City, <br /> <br />and it is the intention of this Council to sell said equipment to <br /> <br />Sierra Asphalt, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The bid of Sierra Asphalt, Inc. in the total amount of <br /> <br />Twenty Thousand Twenty Dollars and 20/100 ($20,020.20) for the <br /> <br />purchase of City's oil distributor tanker truck in accordance <br /> <br />with the bidder's proposal dated June 1, 1984, and in accordance <br /> <br />with the specifications therefor on file in the office of the <br /> <br />City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found <br /> <br />and declared to be the highest responsible bidder for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment from City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
