<br />SWC:rks 4/27/84 <br /> <br />JUN 2 5 19<i4 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />------- <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9 0 V b '-B <br /> <br />OR!GINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHIEF OF POLICE TO DESTROY <br />CERTAIN PUBLIC RECORDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 34090, the head <br /> <br />of a city department with approval of the city council by <br /> <br />resolution, and upon written consent of the city attorney, may <br /> <br />destroy any city record under such department head's charge, <br /> <br />after the same is no longer needed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Chief of Police has presented to the City <br /> <br />Attorney and to this Council for approval a request for cyclic <br /> <br />destruction of certain categories of public records; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Attorney has given written consent to such <br /> <br />requested destruction; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The request of the Chief of Police for cyclic destruction of <br /> <br />those categories of public records listed on "Exhibit A", <br /> <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby <br /> <br />approved, and the Chief of Police is hereby authorized to destroy <br /> <br />those public records in accordance with the aforementioned <br /> <br />requests. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9608-8 <br />
