<br />DFS:djg-c <br />L :rks <br /> <br />6/29/84 <br />7/02/84R <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />"applicable <br /> <br />elected <br /> <br />representative" as specified in said Section 103{k) with respect <br /> <br />to the aforementioned financing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 2, 1984 following due notice, a public <br /> <br />hearing was held on the question of whether the Board of Port <br /> <br />Commissioners of the City of Redwood City should enter into said <br /> <br />Installment Sale Agreement and related agreements (which comprise <br /> <br />the aforesaid financing plan) for the purpose of financing the <br /> <br />construction and acquisition of the Wharf Facilities, said <br /> <br />Installment Sale Agreement to be in the principal amount of not <br /> <br />to exceed $2,000,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve said financing <br /> <br />plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLO~JS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds and declares that following <br /> <br />due notice, on July 2, 1984 a public hearing was held on the <br /> <br />question of whether the Board of Port Commissioners of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City should enter into an installment sale agreement <br /> <br />and related agreements comprising a financing plan for the <br /> <br />purpose of financing- the construction and acquisition of the <br /> <br />Wharf Facilities, which Installment Sale Agreement shall be in <br /> <br />the principal amount of not to exceed $2,000,000; and that this <br /> <br />Council heard all persons requesting to be heard on said <br /> <br />question. <br /> <br />2 <br />
