<br />SWC:rks 6/29/84 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9615 <br /> <br />C:~I(,INAL <br />"i 'I: 1..11 <br /> <br />JUL 2 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AFFI~ffiTIVE MARKETING PLAN AND <br />TENANT ASSISTANCE AND DISPLACEMENT POLICY; AND <br />AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT APPLICATION FOR <br />THIRD ROUND DEMONSTRATION AND RENTAL REHABILITATION <br />PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City currently participates in <br /> <br />a rental rehabilitation program, as part of its Community <br /> <br />Development Block Grant Program; and <br /> <br />vlHEREAS, the City has the opportunity to participate in, and <br /> <br />receive federal assistance for a Third Round Demonstration and <br /> <br />Rental Rehabilitation Program sponsored by the United States <br /> <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development, in accordance with <br /> <br />24CFR Part 511; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to qualify and to apply for said program, <br /> <br />the Housing Officer has drafted a required Affirmative Marketing <br /> <br />Plan and a Tenant Assistance and Displacement Policy; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve said plan and said <br /> <br />policy, and to seek participation in said federal program; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />This Council does hereby approve the Affirmative Marketing <br /> <br />Plan and the Tenant Assistance and Displacement Policy contained <br /> <br />in that document entitled II Rental Rehabilitation Program", and <br /> <br />does hereby authorize the City Manager to submit an application <br /> <br />on behalf of the City of Redwood City to the United States <br /> <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development for financial <br /> <br />assistance and participation in the Third Round Demonstration and <br /> <br />Rental Rehabilitation Program. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9615 <br />
