<br />SWC:rks 7/06/84 <br /> <br />,. ---, r'\ Il\lAl <br />vldl1ll'~ <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9618 <br /> <br />JUL 9 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING REIMBURSABLE ADVANCE OF UP TO <br />$30,000.00 TO PENINSULA YOUTH CENTER; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR; AND TRANSFERRING THE <br />SUM OF $30,000.00 FROM RESOURCES HELD IN RESERVE, <br />ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAMS, OPERATING PROGRAMS TO <br />SOCIAL SERVICE CENTERS, HUMAN SERVICES, OPERATING <br />PROGRAMS TO FUND SAID ADVANCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received a request from the <br /> <br />Peninsula Youth Center to advance funds up to a maximum of <br /> <br />$30,000.00 to keep its Day Care Center at Fair Oaks Community <br /> <br />Center operating until it receives continued funding from the <br /> <br />State Department of Education, on or before September 1, 1984; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council finds that the continued operation of <br /> <br />the Day Care Center at the Fair Oaks Community Center is in the <br /> <br />public interest; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />State <br /> <br />Department <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Education, <br /> <br />Child <br /> <br />Development Division, has indicated to the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />that it will be making payments to the Peninsula Youth Center for <br /> <br />the fiscal year 1984-85; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Peninsula Youth Center has indicated to this <br /> <br />Council that_ it will repay all sums so advanced by the City out <br /> <br />of such funds as are received by the State Department of <br /> <br />Education, on or before September 1, 1984; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />9618 <br />
