At
peak times, the left turn lane fills quickly. Other cars wishing to make that left turn spill
out into the left lane of Woodside Road. The 885 Woodside Road project will only
exacerbate this situation. One possible solution would be to adjust the timing of the
traffic light to allow more cars to make the left turn during each cycle.

Another issue: where is the driveway to the project going to be located? Eastbound from
Kentfield A venue, there is Horgan Avenue, the gas station, and the Montecito
apartments. There is not a lot of available space in that short distance and already a lot of
traffic enters Woodside Road from Horgan, where the car wash is located, and from the
gas station. The entrance/exit from the 885 project will certainly complicate matters.

As you can see, my main concern is the additional traffic which this project would
generate. This added traffic would increase travel time and emergency response time in
the area.

Thank you, again, for doing a great job of keeping us informed about this project.

Regards,
If:/..o ~ ~
~~ Loomis
