<br />SWC:rks 7/05/84 <br /> <br />ORIGI NAL <br /> <br />JUL <br /> <br />9 1984 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9624 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />ASPHALT CONCRETE FOR 1984-85 FISCAL YEAR; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br />OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9595, adopted June II, <br /> <br />1984, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of <br /> <br />asphalt concrete for 1984-85 Fiscal Year; and <br /> <br />~vHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said materials; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Granite Rock Company, Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />materials, and it is the intention of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to Granite Rock Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOVlS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Granite Rock Company, in the amount of <br /> <br />Fifty-two Thousand Sixty-three and 86/100 Dollars ($52,063.86), <br /> <br />more or less, for the furnishing of asphalt concrete for 1984-85 <br /> <br />Fiscal Year in accordance with the bidder's proposal, dated June <br /> <br />28, 1984, and in accordance with the specifications therefor on <br /> <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for the furnishing of said materials. <br /> <br />Q ~ ') 1.' <br />t..../ \j.
