<br />SWC:rks 7/02/84 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9627 <br /> <br />ORfGlrJAL <br />JUt 9 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br />$25,600.53 TO HYLAND CONSTRUCTION FOR <br />CONNECTION WITH FIRE STATION RELOCATION <br /> <br />PAYMENT <br />SERVICES <br /> <br />OF <br />IN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minute Order 83-170, adopted Novewber <br /> <br />21, 1983, the City Council ordered City Staff "to proceed with <br /> <br />all possible speed to remove the firemen and equipment to safe, <br /> <br />temporary quarters"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9493 and Resolution No. <br /> <br />9494, adopted December 12, 1983, the City leased a modular <br /> <br />building for temporary housing of Fire Department Personnel, and <br /> <br />purchased a pre-engineered metal building with foundation for <br /> <br />temporary housing of fire department equipment, respectively; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due to the emergency nature of said relocation, and <br /> <br />the lack of time to prepare detailed engineering specifications, <br /> <br />the City requested Hyland Construction to perform all work <br /> <br />required to provide electrical power, water and sewer service to <br /> <br />said temporary facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Hyland Construction has completed all work as <br /> <br />required, and has submitted to the City invoices in the amount of <br /> <br />$25,600.53 for labor and material costs in connection with said <br /> <br />work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />work and to authorize payment therefor; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />96217 <br />
