<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9 J51 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUL 2 3 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> <br />AGREEMENT WITH SEQUOIA YMCA (YOUTH & FAMILY SERVICES AND <br /> <br />FAIR OAKS OUTREACH) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, SEQUOIA Y.M.C.A. (Youth & Family Services and Fair Oaks <br /> <br />Outreac~ has been established for the principal purpose of diverting <br /> <br />youth from the Juvenile Justice system and to provide a delinquency <br /> <br />prevention capability for families and agencies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sequoia Y.M.C.A (Youth & Family Services and Fair Oaks <br /> <br />, <br />Outreach) has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br /> <br />conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br /> <br />1984 and ending June 30, 1985; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay Sequoia Y.M.C.A. (Youth & Family Services and Fair Oaks <br /> <br />Outrech) the sum of Twenty~hree Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty and <br /> <br />NO/100 Dollars ($23,920.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Sequoia Y.M.C.A. (Youth <br /> <br />& Family Services and Fair Oaks Outreac~and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 6/27/84), by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and Sequoia Y.M.C.A. (Youth & Family Services and <br /> <br />(Youth & Family Services and Fair Oaks Outreach) copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City C~erk, to which copy <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />o h L 1 <br />~j \j:,). <br />
