<br />K E SOL UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />9 v53 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUL 2 3 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH TARGET EDUCATION AND WELFARE COUNCIL, INC. <br />(SENIOR CENTER) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc., has been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing a multipurpose Senior <br /> <br />Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1984 and ending June 30, 1985; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br />desires to pay Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. the sum of <br />Twenty Two Thousand and NO/IOO Dollars ($22,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Target Education and <br /> <br />Welfare Council, Inc., and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 6/27/84), by and between the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City and Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. <br />a copy of which agreement is on fHein the office of the City Clerk, <br />to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City. <br /> <br />Q 0(" I; 3 <br />t..../ t;~J'. <br />
