Q. 9 65 b <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUL 2 3 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />WITH VOLUNTEER CENTER OF SAN MATEO COUNTY (R.S.V.P.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Volunteer Center of San Mateo County (R.S.V.P.) has <br /> <br />been established for the principal purpose of providing volunteer <br /> <br />placement services for senior citizens in the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Volunteer Center of San Mateo County (R.S.V.P.) has <br /> <br />requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its <br /> <br />activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1984 and <br /> <br />ending June 30, 1985; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to pay to Volunteer Center of San Mateo County (R.S.V.P.) <br />the sum of Three Thousand and No/I00 Dollars ($3,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval <br /> <br />an agreement between the City of Redwood City and Volunteer <br />Center of San Mateo County (R.S.V.P.), and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (6/26/84), by and between the City of <br />Redwood City and Volunteer Center of San Mateo County (R.S.V.P.), <br /> <br />a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute the same for "and on behalf of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />'c 65 G <br />
