<br />D"B:sh <br /> <br />8/16/84 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The building at 441 Jackson Street is determined to be a <br /> <br />public nuisance because such building endangers the life, health, <br /> <br />property and safety of the occupants of such building and affects <br /> <br />the neighborhood and persons in the surrounding vicinity of such <br /> <br />structure. <br /> <br />2. The specific findings supporting the determination that <br /> <br />such building is a public nuisance are as follows: <br /> <br />Redwood City Code (Uniform <br />Housing Code Violations <br /> <br />Description of Violations <br />of Redwood City Code <br /> <br />Subsection <br /> <br />Exterior <br /> <br />U.H.C. <br /> <br />1001(e) <br /> <br />Faulty electrical service <br />equipment <br /> <br />U.H.C. <br /> <br />1001(a) <br /> <br />Inadequate roof, windows and <br />doors; siding and paint are <br />required <br /> <br />U.H.C. <br /> <br />1001(g) <br /> <br />Faulty heater connection, <br />protection, and venting <br /> <br />U.H.C. <br /> <br />1001(b) <br /> <br />Unsanitary kitchen, junk, <br />debris, materials and equipment <br />stored on site <br /> <br />U.H.C. <br /> <br />1001(f) <br /> <br />Inadequate kitchen sink and <br />water heater <br /> <br />U.H.C. <br /> <br />1001(c) <br /> <br />No foundation, due to termite <br />decay. Shelter's structural <br />integrity is inadequate. <br />Substructure is totally eaten <br />by termite decay to an <br />extremely hazardous condition <br /> <br />U.H.C. <br /> <br />1001(a) <br /> <br />Yard has become a storage area <br />for commercial vehicles and <br />materials <br /> <br />2 <br />
