2324M JHHW:WHM:sss 9/27/84 OHJGINAL OCT 1 1984 RESOLUTION NO. 9 69 7 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING OFFICIAL STATEMENT AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING CERTAIN ACTIONS WITH RESPECT THERETO RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Redwood City, as follows: WHEREAS, there has been presented to thi s Counci 1 on the date hereof a Preliminary Official Statement relating to Tax and Revenue Anticipation Notes (the "Notes") by the City of Redwood City (the "City"), and this Council has, with the aid of its staff, reviewed said Preliminary Official Statement and each and every part thereof; and WHEREAS, it is in the public interest and for the public benefit that the form and substance of the Preliminary Official Statement be approved; NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby ORDERED and DETERMINED, as follows: Section 1. Recitals True and Correct. All of the recitals herein set forth are true and correct, and the Council so finds and determines. Section 2. Official Statement. The City Council hereby approves the Preliminary Official Statement describing the Notes, in substantially the form submitted by Rauscher Pierce Refsnes, Inc. (the "Underwriter") and on file with the City Clerk, together with any changes therein or additions thereto deemed advisable by the Finance Director. The Underwriter is hereby authorized to distribute said Preliminary Official Statement to prospective purchasers of the Notes. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to approve any changes in or additions to a final form of said Official Statement deemed advisable by the Finance Director, and to execute said final Official Statement for and in the name and on behalf of the City.
