<br />DCB:sh 9/26/84 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9704 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 1 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR HAWES PARK STORM DRAIN AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9673 adopted August 27, <br /> <br />1984, the City Clerk called for bids for HAWES PARK STORM DRAIN; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS ,_ Pat Kennelly Construction, Colma, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award bid to said Pat Kennelly Construction; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Pat Kennelly Construction in the sum of <br /> <br />Twenty Seven Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-Two and 00/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($27,652.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />Septembner 18, 1984, for Hawes Park Storm Drain, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement," (form dated 9/26/84) by <br /> <br />and between the City of Redwood City and Pat Kennelly <br /> <br />Construction, for the performance of said work in accordance with <br /> <br />9704 <br />
