2486M JHHW:WHM:sss 10/18/84 OCT 2 2 1984 RESOLUTION NO. 9 7 1 f) RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING PURCHASE CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING CERTAIN ACTIONS WITH RESPECT THERETO ORIGINAL RESOLVED, by the Ci ty Counc i 1 of the Ci ty of Redwood Ci ty (the "Ci ty") , as follows: WHEREAS, the City has, by Ordinance No. 1903 authorized the issuance of Three Million Eight Hundred Thousand ($3,800,000) principal amount of 1984 Tax and Re'venue Anticipation Notes (the "Notes"); WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council on the date hereof a Purchase Contract relating to the purchase by Rauscher Pierce Refsnes, Inc. (the "Underwriter") of the Notes, and this Council has, with the aid of its staff, reviewed said Purchase Contract; NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby ORDERED and DETERMINED, as follows: Section 1. Recitals True and Correct. All of the recitals herein set forth are true and correct, and the Council so finds and determines. Secti on 2. Purchase Contract. The Ci ty Counc i 1 hereby approves the Purchase Contr~ct, dated October' 23, 1984, by and between the Underwrit~r and the City, on file with the City Clerk. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to approve any changes in or additions to said Purchase Contract deemed advisable by the Finance Director, and to execute said final Purchase Contract for and in the name and on behalf of the City, so long as the interest rate on the Notes does not exceed eight percent (81.). Section 3. Co-Paying Agent. BankAmerica Trust Company of New York, New York, New York, is hereby appointed as Co-Paying Agent for the Notes.
