<br />DCB:sh 1/11/84 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />NOV 5 1984 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9724 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND COUNTY <br />OF SAN MATEO, RELATING TO ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR <br />DESIGN AND ASSESSMENT SERVICES FOR FIFTH AVENUE STORM <br />DRAINAGE SYSTEM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Fifth Avenue Pump Station and its tributary <br /> <br />area have proven to be a drainage problem to both the City and to <br /> <br />the County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the project will include a storm drainage <br /> <br />collection and pumping system design to supplement or replace the <br /> <br />existing storm drainage system and provide protection for the <br /> <br />drainage area, with a thirty (30) year level of protection at the <br /> <br />Fifth Avenue and Hoover Avenue intersection; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is of mutual benefit to the City and to the <br /> <br />County to undertake an engineering design of the Fifth Avenue <br /> <br />Pump Station and associated piping; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City and the County desire engineering services <br /> <br />for design of work required to resolve said problems, indicate <br /> <br />the cost of work, and provide specifications and plans for public <br /> <br />bidding process; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and County of San Mateo, entitled "Agreement For Engineering <br /> <br />Services for Design and Assessment Services for Fifth Avenue <br /> <br />9 ?,"! <t <br />
