<br />DCB:sh 12/06/84 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />9759 <br /> <br />DEe 1 7 1984 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CATCH BASIN CLEANER/2500 <br />GALLON FIRE FIGHTER; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS, AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE ORDER FOR SAID <br />EQUIPMENT AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9731 adopted November 5, <br /> <br />1984, the City Clerk called for bids for a CATCH BASIN <br /> <br />CLEANER/2500 GALLON FIRE FIGHTER; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, South Bay Ford Truck Sales, San Jose, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award bid to said South Bay Ford Truck <br /> <br />Sales; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of South Bay Ford Truck Sales in the sum of One <br /> <br />Hundred Four Thousand Two Hundred Forty Eight and 59/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($104,248.59), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated December 3, 1984, for catch basin cleaner/2500 gallon fire <br /> <br />fighter, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest bidder for said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a <br /> <br />purchase order agreement with South Bay Ford Truck Sales for the <br /> <br />furnishing of the above-mentioned equipment in accordance with, <br /> <br />9759 <br />
