<br />DCB:sh 12/13/84 <br /> <br />O rd I"' 11'1 AL <br />I i1t.lH~ <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9 70" 0 <br /> <br />DEe 1 7 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR ONE 2~ TON DUMP TRUCK AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9732 adopted November 5, <br /> <br />1984, the City Clerk called for bids for purchase of one 2~ ton <br /> <br />dump truck; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, South Bay Ford Truck Sales, San Jose, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award bid to said South Bay Ford; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of South Bay Ford Truck Sales in the sum of <br /> <br />Twenty Eight Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-One and 82/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($28,571.82), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />December 4, 1984, for one 2~ ton dump truck, is hereby accepted <br /> <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />bidder for said equipment and all other bids are rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City all <br /> <br />required documents for said purchase of equipment. <br /> <br />3.
