<br />DCB:sh 12/13/84 <br /> <br />r';r(lGI NAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9762 <br /> <br />DEe 1 7 1984 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR TWO COMPACT PICKUP TRUCKS <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9730 adopted November 5, <br /> <br />1984, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of two <br /> <br />compact pickup trucks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Arata Pontiac, Burlingame, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award bid to said Arata Pontiac; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Arata Pontiac in the sum of Seventeen <br /> <br />Thousand Three Hundred Eighteen and 72/100 Dollars ($17,318.72), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated December 4, <br /> <br />1984, for two compact pickup trucks, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder for <br /> <br />said equipment and all other bids are rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City all <br /> <br />required documents for said purchase of equipment. <br /> <br />3.
