<br />DCP.:sh 10/01/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10025 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 14 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR 5" HI-VOLUME WATER RELAY HOSE <br />AND ASSOCIATED HARDWARE; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9973, adopted August 12, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for a five inch hi-volume <br /> <br />water relay hose and associated hardware; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, L.N. Curtis & Sons, Oakland, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to L.N. Curtis & Sons; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of L.N. Curtis & Sons in the sum of Twenty Nine <br /> <br />Thousand One Hundred Fourteen and 00/100 Dollars ($29,114.00), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal for the sale of a <br /> <br />five inch hi-volume relay hose and associated hardware is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest bidder for said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of <br /> <br />said equipment <br /> <br />in accordance wi th the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to which <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars concerning the <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br />10025 <br />
