<br />DCB:sh <br />')CB:sh <br /> <br />10/09/85 <br />10/10/85R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />~ Q. 1 0 02 7 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 1 4 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR LINDEN PARK LANDSCAPE <br />CONSTRUCTION AND PLANTING; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS <br />RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; <br />AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9987, adopted August 26, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for Linden Park landscaping <br /> <br />and planting; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />COLLISHAW CONSTRUCTION, Santa Clara, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to said Collishaw <br /> <br />Construction; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Collishaw Construction in the amount of One <br /> <br />Hundred Ten Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-Eight and 00/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($110,538.00), more or less for import fill as required, computed <br /> <br />in accordance with bidder's proposal dated September 17, 1985, <br /> <br />for the Linden Park landscape construction and planting is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated 10/9/85) by <br /> <br />1 002 7 <br />
