<br />T"\~B:sh <br />.;B: sh <br /> <br />10/11/85 <br />10/16/85R <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10042 <br /> <br />OmGINAL <br />OCT ~ 1 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A PUBLIC <br />STREET (ROBART STREET) IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF <br />DIVISION 9, AND RETENTION OF PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT <br />AND WIRE CLEARANCE EASEMENT,SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR <br />HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE <br />PROPOSED VACATION AND RETENTION OF EASEMENT; AND <br />ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED VACATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a portion of a public street (Robart Street) in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, heretofore relinquished and dedicated to the <br /> <br />City, is no longer needed to restrict access upon such street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City intends to <br /> <br />vacate said portion of Robart Street pursuant to the provisions of <br /> <br />Part 3 of Division 9 (commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets <br /> <br />and Highways Code; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate <br /> <br />a portion of Robart Street as such street is hereinafter described <br /> <br />while reserving a public service easement and wire clearance <br /> <br />easement, as are hereinafter described, and elects to proceed with <br /> <br />such vacation pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 <br /> <br />(commencing with Section 8300) of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br />2. The portion of Robart Street to be vacated and public <br /> <br />service easement and wire clearance easement to be received are <br /> <br />more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and <br /> <br />incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />3. Notice is hereby given that Monday, November 18, 1985, <br /> <br />at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., in the Board of Supervisors <br /> <br />10042 <br />
