<br />DCB:sh 10/25/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 1 0051 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 2 8 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SOIL TESTING SERVICES FOR ROOSEVELT <br />AVENUE AND OAK AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires soil testing services in connection <br /> <br />with the reconstruction of the Roosevelt Avenue and Oak Avenue; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, TEJIMA-ATKINSON, INC., Redwood City, California has <br /> <br />represented to City that it is experienced and uniquely qualified <br /> <br />to perform such services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City desires to engage TEJlMA-ATKINSON, INC. to <br /> <br />perform soil testing services, including but not limited to the <br /> <br />performing geotechnical observations and laboratory tests to <br /> <br />evaluate the engineering properties of the samples soils; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain Agreement entitled "Agreement - Soil Testing <br /> <br />Services <br /> <br />Roosevelt Avenue and Oak Avenue Reconstruction <br /> <br />Projects" a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br /> <br />the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br /> <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10051 <br />
