RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 10064 NOV 4 1985 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SALARIES, MEDICAL, RETIREMENT, DENTAL AND OTHER ECONOMIC BENEFITS FOR CERTAIN DESIGNATED EMPLOYEES OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The following monthly salary rates, in dollars, are established for each of the employee positions within the employment classifications relating to the Police Department personnel, set forth below, within the designated ranges hereinafter set forth, for the period September 1, 1985 to August 31, 1988

<br />DCB:sh 9/19/85 <br />DCB:sh 10/30/85R <br /> <br />health care insurance coverage provided by Blue Cross of <br /> <br />California, Kaiser, or Bay Pacific as per Exhibit "A", attached <br /> <br />hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />5. For retirees who are hired after September 1, 1985 and <br /> <br />with twenty (20) years of City service, the City's health care <br /> <br />insurance coverage may be continued at retiree's own expense. <br /> <br />6. Effective upon execution of this agreement, the City <br /> <br />shall contribute on behalf of employees represented by the Police <br /> <br />Officers Association, Thirty-Seven and 44/100 Dollars ($37.44) <br /> <br />per month to provide dental care benefits covering the employee <br /> <br />and eligible dependents. <br /> <br />7. Effective upon execution of the agreement, the City <br /> <br />shall provide the pay/shift differential and amend the work <br /> <br />period as follows: <br /> <br />Premium Pay <br /> <br />Effective Date <br /> <br />Amount <br /> <br />September 1, 1985 <br />September 1, 1987 <br /> <br />$140.00/month <br />$150.00/month <br /> <br />Shift Differential <br /> <br />Effective Date <br /> <br />Amount <br /> <br />September 1, 1985 <br />September 1, 1987 <br /> <br />$70.00/month <br />$75.00/month <br /> <br />Work Period <br /> <br />A 28-day work period shall be established, effective April <br />15, 1985. <br /> <br />8.
