C) <br />j ~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING A CULTURAL ELEMENT FOR THE GENERAL <br />PLAN FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />ORiGINAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Article XI of Chapter 18 of the Redwood <br /> <br />City Code, the Planning Commission initiated proceedings for the <br /> <br />adoption of a Cultural Element for the General Plan of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after duly noticed public hearing, said Commission <br /> <br />approved the Cultural Element as submitted to it by the Redwood <br /> <br />City Civil Cultural Commission, and has forwarded to this Council <br /> <br />such approved Element with the recommendation that said Element <br /> <br />be adopted by this Council as the Cultural Element of the General <br /> <br />Plan of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after duly noticed public hearing, this Council <br /> <br />desires to adopt said Element as the Cultural Element of the <br /> <br />General Plan of the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />This Council, after public hearing duly set, noticed and <br /> <br />held, does hereby adopt the Cultural Element transmitted to <br /> <br />the Planning Commission, and titled "Redwood City Cultural <br /> <br />Element - Prepared by the Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission, <br /> <br />July, 1985" as the Cultural Element of the General Plan of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10068 <br />
