RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 10087 DEe 1 6 1985 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE AMENDMENT OF THE REDWOOD CITY GENERAL PLAN RELATING TO PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE MARINA REDEVELOPMENT AREA OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 18.61 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, this Council hereby initiates proceedings for the amendment of the Redwood City General Plan by declaring its intention to amend the land use map of the Land Use Element by redesignating lands located in the Marina Redevelopment area of the City of Redwood City from the "Employment" and "Public Facility" designations to the "Commercial", "Employment", and "High Density Residential" designations in conformance with the "Land Use Plan Maple Street Marina", prepared by the proposed developer of the property for the purposes of an Environmental Impact Report, which plan is attached hereto, labeled "Exhibit F" and incorporated herein by this reference. 2. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 18.62 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, the Planning Commission shall hold a public hearing on the amendment proposed hereby, and shall return its report and recommendations with respect to said amendment within thirty (30) days from the date of adoption hereof; provided, however, that said period may be extended to a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days in the event said Commission deems such extent ion necessary in order to accommodate public hearing requirements. * * * 10087
