<br />p. <br /> <br />DEe 19 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />lOlUZ <br /> <br />ORiGiNAL <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING UNPAID ASSESSMENTS <br />AND PROVIDING FOR ISSUANCE OF BONDS <br /> <br />SEAPORT CENTRE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT <br /> <br />RESOLVED, by <br />Redwood City (the <br />California, that <br /> <br />the City Council (the "Council") of the City <br />"City"), in the County of San Mateo, State <br /> <br />of <br />of <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council has provided in proceedings conducted under <br />and pursuant to its Resolution of Intention No. 10072, adopted on <br />November 18, 1985, for the levy of assessments to finance the <br />acquisition, work and improvements described therein (the "Project") <br />and for the issuance of serial bonds to represent the unpaid <br />assessments pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Bond Act of <br />1915, Division 10 (commencing with Section 8500) of the Streets and <br />Highways Code of the State of California (the "Act"); <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a complete list of all unpaid assessments, in form <br />hereto attached as Exhibit "A", has been made by the Finance Director <br />of the City as Collection Officer and filed in his office as Citv <br />Treasurer (the "Treasurer"): <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council has duly considered said Exhibit "A" and <br />has determined that the same is an accurate statement thereof; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL HEREBY DETERMINES AND ORDERS, as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. List of Unpaid Assessments. That the assessments <br />now remaining unpaid are as shown on said list of unpaid assessments <br />and on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part <br />hereof, that the aggregate amount thereof is $11,133,530.98, and that <br />for a particular description of the lots or parcels of land bearing the <br />respective assessment numbers set forth in said list, reference is <br />hereby made to the assessment and to the diagram recorded in the office <br />of the Superintendent of Streets of the City after confirmation by the <br />Council. <br /> <br />Section 2. Issuance of Bonds. Bonds aggregating $11,133,530.98 <br />in principal amount shall be issued upon the security of said unpaid <br />assessments in accordance with the provisions of the Act and under and <br />pursuant to the provisions of said Resolution of Intention, and the <br />proceedings thereunder duly had and taken, shall be issued in fully <br />registered form, without coupons, shall be known as "Improvement Bonds, <br />City of Redwood City, Seaport Centre Assessment District" (the "Bonds" <br />and singularly the "Bond"), he dated December 30, 1985, be numbered as <br />determined by the Agent hereinafter designated, be of the denomination <br />of $5,000 or an integral multiple thereof (except that one Bond of the <br /> <br />0') <br />". ,:..J <br />
