<br />DCB:sh 1/16/85 <br /> <br />ORIG'NAL <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 9 782 <br /> <br />JAN 2 1 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR ONE STENCIL TRUCK BODY WITH <br />PAINTING EQUIPMENT INSTALLED AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9758 adopted December <br /> <br />17, 1984, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of one <br /> <br />stencil truck body with painting equipment installed on a Ford <br /> <br />cab and chassis; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />t'VHEREAS, Lakeside Truck Body Co., Turlock, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award bid to said Lakeside Truck Body Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Lakeside Truck Body Company in the sum of <br /> <br />Eighteen Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety-Eight and 04/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($18,798.04), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />January 15, 1985, for one stencil truck body with painting <br /> <br />equipment installed on a Ford cab and chassis is hereby accepted <br /> <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />bidder for said equipment and all other bids are rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City all <br /> <br />required documents for said purchase of equipment. <br /> <br />3.
