<br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />DESCRIPTION <br /> <br />The land herein referred to is situated in the <br />State of California, County of San Mateo, City <br />of Redwood City, and is described as follows: <br /> <br />PARCEL I: <br /> <br />COMMENCING at a point "A" marked by a 2" by 4" stake, driven <br />in the Westerly slope of the levee along the Westerly bank of <br />Steinberger Creek, which point "A" is located by tracing courses and <br />distances as follows: <br /> <br />Starting at a point "B" on the Northeasterly boundary line of <br />· the Rancho de las Pu1gas distant thereon South 49- 00' East 1073.6 <br />feet from the point of intersection of said Northeasterly boundary <br />i1ine of the Rancho de las pulgas, with the Southerly boundary line <br />'of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 12, Township 5 South, Range 4 West, <br />M. D. B. & M., said point "B" being at the point of intersection of <br />the said Northeasterly boundary line of the Rancho de las pulgas <br />with the produced Southeasterly boundary line of the 130.19 acre <br />tract, described in Deed from H. May Pearsall, et a1 to Josephine A. <br />Phelps, dated August 23, 1916 and recorded in Book 13l of Deeds at <br />page 170, Records of San Mateo County, California and to which <br />Deed reference is hereby made for a description of said 130.19 acre <br />tract for all the purposes of this description and running thence <br />from said point "B" North 39- 32-1/4' East 110.04 feet to the <br />Southerly corner of said 130.19 acre tract; thence North 39- 32-1/4' <br />East 3070.8 feet along the Southeasterly boundary line of said <br />:130.19 acre tract (the bearing of which boundary line is given as <br />South 39- 00' West in the above described Deed) to a 4" x 4" stake <br />thereon in the levee on the Westerly side of Steinberger Creek; <br />thence North 15- 17' East 263.6 feet to a 2" by 4" stake in levee; <br />thence North 0- 04-1/2' East 284.9 feet to a aforesaid point <br />,"A" of commencement and running thence from said point "A" South 89- <br />18-1/2' West 335.9 feet; thence North O. 41-l/2'. West 28s.10'feet; <br />thence North 89- l8-1/2' East 706.2 feet to the median line of <br />'Steinberger Creek; thence along said median line of Steinberger <br />Creek South 4- 00' East 277.0 feet; thence South 39- 32-1/4' West <br />11.2 feet; thence leaving Steinberger Creek, South 89- 18-1/2' West <br />379.0 feet to the point of commencement. <br /> <br />PARCEL II: <br /> <br />A NON-EXCLUSIVE RIGHT OF WAY as an appurtenance to the premises <br />described above in Parcel I, 40 feet in width, over the said <br />130.19 acre tract, extending from the Southerly boundary of the <br />above described premises to the Northeasterly line of the Bay- <br />shore Freeway, the center line of said Right of Way being described <br />as follows: <br /> <br />COMMENCING at a point in the Southerly boundary of the Parcel <br />above described in Parcel I, 20.2 feet Easterly of the Southwesterly <br />~orner of said described Parcel; thence South 7- 23' 27" West 952 <br />feet more or less, to a point 20 feet Northwesterly, measured at <br />right angles.
