Q ~ N O. 9 8 2 9 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND !AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />AGREEMENT WITH HERON COURT CC\>OPERATIVE, INC. (CDBG) <br />I <br />WHEREAS, the Community Detelopment Block Grant Program <br />authorized pursuant to Title I I of the Housing and Community <br /> <br />OF <br /> <br />Development Act of 1974, as enact1d by the Congress of the United <br /> <br />States (Pub. Law 93-383), provides for the issuance of Grants in <br /> <br />order to attain the objective of ~he development of viable urban <br /> <br />communities, by providing decent. housing and a suitable living <br />I <br />environment and expanding economiq opportunities, principally for <br /> <br />persons of low and moderate incom~: and <br />I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council wishes ito provide funds to Heron Court <br /> <br />I <br />Cooperative, Inc., to assist wit~ various improvements to Heron <br /> <br />Court, a low and moderate income qooperative housing development; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNC~L OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain Agreement ent~tled "Agreement (Heron Court <br /> <br />Assistance) ", by and between the ICi ty of Redwood City and Heron <br /> <br />Court Cooperative, Inc., a copy o~ which Agreement is on file in <br /> <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby <br /> <br />made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved: and the <br /> <br />City Manager is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement for <br /> <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwqod City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />9 829 <br />
