<br />S~~:djg-c 4/11/85 <br /> <br />OR'G\NAL <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 9 854 <br /> <br />APR 1 5 1985 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF JOINT <br />POWERS AGREEMENT FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE SAN MATEO COUNTY <br />NARCOTICS TASK FORCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minute Order No. 85-08 adopted January <br /> <br />21, <br /> <br />1985, <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />approved <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />concept <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City's <br /> <br />participation in the San Mateo County Narcotic Bureau; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an <br /> <br />agreement entitled "Joint Powers Agreement Establishing the San <br /> <br />Mateo County Narcotics Task Force" by and between the County of <br /> <br />San Mateo and various cities wi thin the County, including the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement, by and between the County of San <br /> <br />Mateo and various cities within the County of San Mateo, <br /> <br />including the City of Redwood City, entitled "Joint Powers <br /> <br />Agreement Establishing the San Mateo County Narcotics Task <br /> <br />Force", a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the <br /> <br />City Clerk, to which copy reference lS hereby made for the full <br /> <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the Mayor is hereby <br /> <br />authorized and directed to execute the aforesaid agreement for <br /> <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />-{~ <br />~~, .' <br /> <br />('4 <br />,) -- - <br />0""0 <br />
