<br />DCB:sh 5/30/85 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />9890 <br /> <br />JUN 3 1985 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR MUNICIPAL SERVICES CENTER <br />VEHICLE PROTECTION BUILDING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9862 adopted April 22, <br /> <br />1985, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of a <br /> <br />Vehicle Protection Building at the Municipal Services Center. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said construction and filed with the City Clerk; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Raiser Construction Company, Inc., San Mateo, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award bid to said Raiser <br /> <br />Construction Company, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />I. The bid of Raiser Construction Company, Inc. in the sum <br /> <br />of Fifty Six Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Four and 00/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($56,354.00), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated May 21, 1985, for the construction of a Vehicle <br /> <br />Protection Building at the Municipal Services Center is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement," by and between the City <br /> <br />9890 <br />
