<br />DES:djc 1/09/86 <br /> <br />The firm of Rauscher Pierce Refsnes, Inc., of San Francisco, <br /> <br />California, is hereby designated as underwriter for the sale, <br />placement, or other disposition of such securities, leases, <br />contracts, certificates of participation, or other evidences of <br />indebtedness of whatever nature or form which may be approved, <br />authorized, executed, issued, or otherwise offered for marketing <br />and/or placement for financing the Projects, or any or all <br />thereof, and, acting as an underwriter, to render advice to the <br />City of Redwood City with respect to the structure, timing, <br />terms, and other similar matters concerning such financing; <br /> <br /> <br />provided, however, that such compensation, if any, as may be <br /> <br /> <br />authorized for such services shall be in the form of a discount <br /> <br /> <br />or otherwise payable from the proceeds of such marketing and/or <br /> <br />placement of such evidences of indebtedness and shall be in an <br /> <br />amount subject to the approval of this Council. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br />
