<br />nBS:djc 2/28/86 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 1 0 1 51 <br /> <br />MAR 3 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />FOR SPECIAL LEGAL SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH FINANCING <br />CERTAIN PROPOSED CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />(FIRE STATION, LIBRARY, CITY HALL PROJECT) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to undertake construction of <br /> <br />certain capital improvement projects including a new fire <br /> <br />station, library, and new and remodeled City Hall (collectively, <br /> <br />the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, funding the Project will require the use of one or <br /> <br />more specialized financing techniques available to public <br /> <br />agencies and the issuance of evidences of indebtedness in <br /> <br />connection therewith; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in order to finance the Project this City requires <br /> <br />the advice and assistance of special legal counsel; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to, and reviewed by, this <br /> <br />Council an agreement by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />Jones Hall Hill & White, a professional law corporation, pursuant <br /> <br />to which the latter will provide specialized legal services in <br /> <br />connection with financing construction of the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement By and Between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Jones Hall Hill & White, a <br /> <br />Professional Law Corporation, for Special Legal Services in <br /> <br />10151 <br />
