<br />DAS:sh 3/13/86 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N Q. 1 0 16 I <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAR 1 7 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING TERMINATION OF THE <br />CURRENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />THE CITY OF SAN CARLOS FOR MOTORCYCLE MAINTENANCE <br />SERVICES AND APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF NEW <br />AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE <br />CITY OF SAN CARLOS AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AND THE CITY OF THE TOWN OF ATHERTON FOR MOTORCYCLE <br />MAINTENANCE SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 9478, adopted November <br /> <br />14, 1983, the City of Redwood City executed an agreement to <br /> <br />provide motorcycle maintenance services for the Police Department <br /> <br />of the City of San Carlos; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the abovementioned agreement charges an hourly <br /> <br />mechanic's fee of Twenty Six and No/lOa Dollars ($26.00) to San <br /> <br />Carlos for the abovementioned motorcycle maintenance services; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pay raises to City mechanics subsequent to the <br /> <br />abovementioned agreement dictate that the City now charge San <br /> <br />Carlos <br /> <br />Thirty <br /> <br />Six and No/lOa <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($36.00) <br /> <br />for the <br /> <br />abovementioned services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of the Town of Atherton has requested that <br /> <br />the City provide motorcycle maintenance services for the Police <br /> <br />Department of the City of the Town of Atherton; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />terminate the agreement by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />and the City of San Carlos, executed pursuant to Resolution No. <br /> <br />10161 <br />
