<br />DAS:sh 5/1/86 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10197 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />MAY 5 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE ADOPTION OF THE REDWOOD CITY <br />WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN PREPARED PURSUANT TO THE <br />CALIFORNIA URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLANNING ACT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has prepared The Redwood <br /> <br />City Urban Water Management Plan ("Plan") summarizing among other <br /> <br />things, the availability and consumption of water, current and <br /> <br />possible water conservation measures, pursuant to the provisions <br /> <br />of Sections 10610 et seq. of the State Water Code, know as the <br /> <br />"Urban Water Management Planning Act" ("Act"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by Minute Order No. 86-78, adopted by the Council <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City on April 14, 1986, said Council <br /> <br />ordered a public hearing to hear any suggestions, and/or <br /> <br />objections to the adoption of said Plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Plan was available for public inspection, and <br /> <br />due notice of such hearing was given as required by Section 10642 <br /> <br />of the Act; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those documents known as The Redwood City Urban Water <br /> <br />Management Plan, are adopted. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager of the City of Redwood City is hereby <br /> <br />directed to implement said adopted Plan in accordance with the <br /> <br />schedule set forth in said Plan. <br /> <br />10197 <br />
