<br />DES:djc 7/31/86 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10297 <br /> <br />AUG <br /> <br />4 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE <br />COUNTY OF SAN MATEO TO PERMIT THE COUNTY CLERK TO <br />RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF <br />THE SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION CONSOLIDATED WITH <br />NOVEMBER 4, 1986 STATEWIDE ELECTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 22003 of the Elections Code of the State of <br /> <br />California provides that the governing body of any city may, by <br /> <br />resolution, request the Board of Supervisors of the county within <br /> <br />which the city is located to permit the County Clerk to render <br /> <br />specified services to the city relating to the conduct of an <br /> <br />election; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />subject to the <br /> <br />approval of the Board of <br /> <br />Supervisors, such services shall be performed by the County <br /> <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires that those specified election <br /> <br />services set forth in Exhibit" A", attached hereto and by this <br /> <br />reference incorporated herein, shall be performed by the County <br /> <br />Clerk of the County of San Mateo for the special municipal <br /> <br />election <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City consolidated with the <br /> <br />statewide election to be held on November 4, 1986; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Request is hereby made that the Board of Supervisors of <br /> <br />the County of San Mateo to permit the County Clerk of said County <br /> <br />to render those certain services for the consideration specified <br /> <br />10297 <br /> <br />. . -- .....
