<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />10338 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE FORUM ON COMMUNITY AND THE ENVIRONMENT, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Forum on Community and the Environment, Inc., a <br /> <br />California non-profit corporation, has been established for the <br /> <br />principal purpose of improving neighborhood and community education and <br /> <br />promoting economic opportunities of benefit to and in furtherance of the <br /> <br />public order, health and welfare in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City has found and <br /> <br />determined that the Neighborhood Boards Program so operated and <br /> <br />conducted by said corporation is of general value to the residents of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City, and will result in public benefit to the whole <br /> <br />community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to contribute to the Forum on Community <br /> <br />and the Environment, Inc., the sum of Twenty-two Thousand and No/IOO <br /> <br />Dollars ($22,000.00) during the fiscal year July 1, 1986, through June <br /> <br />30, 1987; <br />NOW THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 9/9/86), by and between the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and the Forum on Community and the Environment, Inc., a <br /> <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br /> <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br />to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />SEP 1 6 198b <br />ORWlNAl <br /> <br />1 033R <br />
