<br />SWC:djk 10/24/86 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />J0362 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />OCT 2 '( 198b <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION BY THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />REQUESTING THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION TO <br />TAKE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN <br />PROPERTIES (FIGUERAS, et al.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to initiate <br /> <br />proceedings pursuant to the Cortese-Knox Local Government <br /> <br />Reorganization Act of 1985, Division 3, commencing with Section <br /> <br />56000 of the California Government Code, for the annexation to <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City of certain hereinafter described <br /> <br />territory; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />territory <br /> <br />proposed <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />annexed <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />uninhabited, and a description of the boundaries of the territory <br /> <br />is shown on that map labeled Exhibit "A", and more particularly <br /> <br />described in Exhibit "B", both Exhibits of which are attached <br /> <br />hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this proposal is consistent with the sphere of <br /> <br />influence of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires that the proposed <br /> <br />annexation be subject to the following condition: <br /> <br />That all inhabited parcels be required to hookup to the <br /> <br />City's sewer system; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the reasons for this proposed annexation are as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. To provide sewer service to one of the properties <br /> <br />2.
