<br />DES:djk 12/2/86 <br /> <br />''if <br />~.l' <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />!i 2. 1 0 31~ 0 <br /> <br />r: ~ r;, [, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULTS OF SPECIAL <br />MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 4, 1986 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Redwood City, pursuant to Resolution <br /> <br />No. 10296, adopted August 4, 1986, proposed certain amendments to <br /> <br />the Charter of the City of Redwood City, ordered submission <br /> <br />thereof to the electors of said City at a Special Municipal <br /> <br />Election therein called for such purpose on November 4, 1986, and <br /> <br />requested the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo to <br /> <br />consolidate said Election with the Statewide General Election on <br /> <br />said date; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Special Municipal Election was held on <br /> <br />Tuesday, November 4, 1986 in accordance with law, and the votes <br /> <br />thereat received and canvassed, <br /> <br />and the resul ts thereof <br /> <br />determined and certified in all respects as required by law; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That the City Clerk of the City of Redwood City be, and <br /> <br />is hereby, instructed to enter this resolution on the minutes of <br /> <br />this Council as a statement of the results of said Election. <br /> <br />2. That at said Election the following Measures and each <br /> <br />of them were submitted to the electors of said City, and that the <br /> <br />number of votes given for and against each of said measures <br /> <br />(including absentee votes) was as follows: <br /> <br />i \ <br />
