<br />DAS:sh 2/19/87 (#19) <br /> <br />ORIGI NAL <br /> <br />FEB 23 1987 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.I0428 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR SEAPORT BOULEVARD/BLOMQUIST <br />STREET TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br />SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minute Order 86-227, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on December 15, 1986, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />called <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Seaport <br /> <br />Boulevard/Blomquist Street traffic signal project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Wingard Engineering, Fremont, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Wingard Engineering; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Wingard Engineering in the sum of <br /> <br />Eighty-Seven <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Three <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />No/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($87,300.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />February 17, 1987, for Seaport Boulevard/Blomquist Street traffic <br /> <br />signal project, is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement Seaport Boulevard/Blomquist <br /> <br />Street Traffic Signal Project", by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Wingard Engineering, for the performance of <br /> <br />1 V ~~ ~ <br />
