<br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br /> <br />ALL that certain parcel of land situate in the City of Redwood City, <br />County of San Mateo, State of California and being a portion of the <br />Lands of Southern Pacific Transportation Company (Southern Pacific <br />Railroad Company) as shown upon that certain Record of Survey filed in <br />Book 9 of L.L.S. Maps at Page 58, San Mateo County Records; said parcel <br />is more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at the most Northerly point on the line cornman to the lands <br />of said Southern Pacific Railroad Company and Seaport Boulevard, as <br />shown on the above said RecQrd of Survey; said point is further <br />described as having the coordinates of N370,062.901 E1,504,175.604; <br />thence, from said Point of Beginning along said common line, South <br />15017 I 04" Wes t 598.84 feet; thence along the arc of a tangent curve to <br />the right having a radius of 3,828.33 feet, through a central angle of <br />2034'51" for an arc length of 172.44 feet; thence, tangent from last <br />said curve, South 17051'55" West 2,243.09 feet; thence, South 2056145" <br />West 956.18 feet; thence, North 87003'15" West 15.00 feet; thence, <br />South 2056'45" West 54.97 feet; thence, along the arc of a tangent <br />curve to the right, having a radius of 40.00 feet, through a central <br />angle of 88015 I 56" for an arc length of 61.62 feet; thence, tangent <br />from last said curve, North 88047'19" West 4.71 feet; thence, North <br />2056'45" East 1,058.93 feet; thence, North 17051'55"East 1,999.47 feet; <br />thence North 17051'55" East 124.99 feet; -thence North 17051'55" East <br />126.30 feet; thence along the arc of a tangent curve to the left, <br />having a radius of 3,769.83 feet; through a central angle of 1026'38" <br />for an arc length of 95.00 feet; thence, radially from last said curve, <br />South 73034'43"East 10.00 feet; thence, from a tangent that bears North <br />16025'17" East, along the arc of a curve to the left, having a radius <br />of 3,779.83 feet, through a central angle of 1008'13" for an arc length <br />of 75.00 feet; thence, North 15017'04" East 598.84 feet; thence South <br />74042' 56" Eas t 48.50 feet to the P oint of Beginning. <br /> <br />Containing 5.2732 acres, more or less. <br /> <br />EXCLUDING THEREFROM that certain 23.S-foot wide strip of real property <br />(commonly referred to as the "Track Operating Area"), the Easterly boundary <br />of which is identical to the Easterly boundary of the above-described parcel, <br />and which excluded parcel is measured Westerly from said Easterly boundary, <br />comprised of an 8.S-foot wide area from the street line of Seaport Boulevard <br />to the center line of the railroad tracks located within said parcel together <br />with a IS-foot wide strip from the center line of said tracks to the Westerly <br />boundary of the herein described excluded parcel. <br /> <br />TOGETHER WITH a right of access over, across, and within the above-described <br />excluded portion to the remaining portion. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
