<br />SWC:sl-- <br />SWC:s <br /> <br />4/3/87 <br />4/6/87R <br /> <br />(#19) <br />(#19) <br />APR 6 1987 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. 10472 <br /> <br />1 0472 <br /> <br />OF <br />FOR <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />AGREEMENT WITH EMERGENCY HOUSING CONSORTIUM, INC. <br />OPERATING EMERGENCY SHELTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Emergency Housing Consortium, Inc. is presently <br /> <br />engaged in the operation of the Redwood City Family Living Center <br /> <br />in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Emergency Housing Consortium, Inc. has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance in order to conduct such a program for <br /> <br />the City during the first year of operation of the Family Living <br /> <br />Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request <br /> <br />and desires to allocate to Emergency Housing Consortium, Inc. the <br /> <br />sum of Seventy Thousand and No/lOO Dollars (70,000.00) from its <br /> <br />Community Development Block Grant funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for <br /> <br />approval an agreement between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />Emergency Housing Consortium, Inc., and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 4/3/87), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Emergency Housing Consortium, Inc., <br /> <br />a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />10472 <br />
