<br />DAS:sh A/lO/87 (#19) <br /> <br />QRIGINkL <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 047 3 <br /> <br />APt< 1;) 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF FURNISHINGS <br />FOR FIRE STATION NO.1; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager called for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of furnishings for Fire Station No.1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, one (1) bid was received for <br /> <br />the purchase of said furnishings; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Corporate <br /> <br />Environments, <br /> <br />Inc. , <br /> <br />San <br /> <br />Mateo, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to <br /> <br />Corporate Environments, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Corporate Environments, Inc., in the sum of <br /> <br />Fifty Four Thousand Thirty-seven and 48/100 Dollars ($54,037.48), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated March 27, <br /> <br />1987, for the sale of furnishings for Fire Station No. 1 is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest responsible bidder for said furnishings. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said furnishings in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars concerning the <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br />d"" . 1 """1 3~ f <br />U ':t r, . <br />
