<br />DAS:sh 4/15/87 (#19) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.10483 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />APR 20 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR VETERANS MEMORIAL SENIOR <br />CENTER ADDITION; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br />SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10460, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on March 16, 1987, the <br />Ci ty Clerk called for bids for the Veterans Memorial Senior <br /> <br />Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Hodgson <br /> <br />Construction, <br /> <br />Inc. , <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to Hodgson <br /> <br />Construction, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Hodgson Construction, Inc. in the sum of <br /> <br />Fifty Two Thousand Eight Hundred Seventeen and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($52,817.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />April 7, 1987, for Veterans Memorial Senior Center Addition, is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement Veterans Memorial Senior <br /> <br />Center Addition", by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />Hodgson Construction, Inc. for the performance of said work in <br /> <br />accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal a copy of which <br /> <br />10488 <br />
