<br />DAS: sh <br />DAS:s <br /> <br />4/09/87 <br />4/16/87 (R) <br /> <br />(#19) <br />(#19) <br />APR 2 0 1987 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.I0484 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) <br />CLASS A "TRIPLE COMBINATION PUMPER" FOR FIREFIGHTING; <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager called for bids for the purchase <br /> <br />of one (1) Class A "Triple Combination Pumper" for firefighting; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, four (4) bids were received <br /> <br />for the purchase of said pumper; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Paramount Equipment Sales, Sylmar, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to accept said bid and to <br /> <br />authorize execution of all necessary documents (subject to <br /> <br />approval of the City Attorney as to form) to perfect the <br /> <br />acquisition of said equipment through lease-purchase arrangement <br /> <br />in accordance with the aforesaid bid; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Paramount Equipment Sales, in the sum of One <br /> <br />Hundred Fifty-three Thousand Five Hundred Five and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($153,505.00), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated March 19, 1987, for the sale of one (1) Class A Triple <br /> <br />Combination Pumper for firefighting is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder for said pumper. <br /> <br />10484 <br />
