<br />SWC:sh <br />SWC: sl <br /> <br />1/20/87 (#18) <br />4/l5/87R (#18) <br />ORIGINAL <br />APt< 20 1987 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0489 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />WHITMORE, KAY AND STEVENS RELATING TO LEGAL SERVICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires specialized legal <br /> <br />services in the area of labor relations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to engage the <br /> <br />partnership of Whitmore, Kay and Stevens, Palo Alto, California <br /> <br />to perform such services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council for <br /> <br />its approval for Whitmore, Kay and Stevens to provide the <br /> <br />above-referenced services to City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />Ci ty and Whitmore, Kay and Stevens entitled "Agreement - Legal <br /> <br />Services" (form dated 4/15/87R), attached hereto, is hereby <br /> <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br />to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10489 <br />
