<br />DA~ ~jk 5/15/87 (#19) <br /> <br />MAY 1 8 1987 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NQ.I0501" <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />BRIAN-KANGAS-FOULK & ASSOCIATES FOR ENGINEERING DESIGNS <br />FOR STORM DRAINAGE FACILITIES TO SERVICE THE BAYFRONT <br />CANAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires additional <br /> <br />studies and engineering design for a storm drain pump station to <br /> <br />service the area presently serviced by a storm drain tide gate <br /> <br />structure at the southeast end of the Bayfront Canal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to engage <br /> <br />Brian-Kangas-Fou1k & Associates, Redwood City, California to <br /> <br />perform such design which shall include, but not be limited to <br /> <br />the preparation of plans and specifications for pump station and <br /> <br />tide gate structure to increase the capacity of the system to <br /> <br />remove storm drainage waters; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Brian-Kangas-Foulk & Associates has represented to <br /> <br />the City that it is experienced and qualified to perform all of <br /> <br />the abovementioned services as further described in the proposed <br /> <br />agreement therefore; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Brian-Kangas-Foulk & Associates entitled, "Agreement - <br /> <br />Design of Bayfront Canal Storm Drain System Improvements" (form <br /> <br />dated 5/15/87), a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> <br />10501 <br />
