<br />DAS:sh '-/16/87 <br /> <br />(#19) <br /> <br />MAY 18 1981 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10504 <br /> <br />ORIGiNAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING <br />RESURFACING PROJECT <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />BID FOR STREET OVERLAY AND <br />1986-87; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10477, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on April 13, 1987, the <br /> <br />City Clerk called for base and alternative bids for the Street <br /> <br />Overlay and Resurfacing Project 1986-87; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, base and al ternati ve bids <br /> <br />were received for the performance of said work and filed with the <br /> <br />City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Oliver DeSilva, Inc., Hayward, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bids to Oliver DeSilva, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The base and alternative bids of Oliver DeSilva, Inc. <br /> <br />in the total amount of One Million Thirty-three Thousand One <br /> <br />Hundred Twenty-eight and 64/100 Dollars ($1,033,128.64), computed <br /> <br />in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated May 5, 1987, for <br /> <br />Overlay and Resurfacing Project 1986-87, is hereby found and <br /> <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement <br /> <br />Street Overlay and <br /> <br />Resurfacing Project 1986-87", by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Oliver DeSilva, Inc. for the performance of said work in <br /> <br />10504 <br />
